Transracial adoption is a hot topic. If you’re here, I can safely assume you’ve been exposed to the vitriol being spewed across the internet about the practice. But this site’s a little different.
While this blog (latest posts) is primarily a vehicle for promoting my project, its goal is to serve as a safe space to discuss race, adoption, and other related topics. There won’t be any “pro-” or “anti-” labels here; just constructive feedback, criticism, and a comfortable exchange of ideas.
Before you ask, no, I am not anti-adoption and no, I do not hate my parents. Check out those introductory posts so you can better understand my stance.
You’ll also find peer-reviewed journal articles as well as books, websites, and other resources to help inform your discussion.
